  2. haha- thanks, Kathy! It was actually pretty easy since he's so into firemen lately :) And since we don't live in lexington anymore, we had to have it somewhere OTHER than our house :) It was a lot of fun. :)
Hope you and the little ones are having a good week!

  5. So the fire station do birthday parties? How much was that (if you don't mind me asking). What about the restaurant, did they decorate it like that or did you do that?
It looks like they all had a wonderful time.

  6. Pauline.. the fire station doesn't exactly "do" parties... they do "tours." IF there isn't any kind of emergency :) I called ahead and set up a tour that lasted about 45 min. The showed us the trucks and the living quarters etc... it was great! Very informative. benson LOVED it.. some of the littler ones couldn't really follow what they were saying. They didn't charge anything for that part, it's just a public service they volunteer for classes, kids, groups etc. They don't allow the actual parties to take place there, which is why we went to firehouse subs after our tour :)

I went to the restaurant before we went to the fire station and decorated the tables at firehouse. Again, I had called ahead and we ordered a couple of the party platters and requested some reserved tables. They were very helpful and obliging. We got there around 1:00 to try and come in a little later than the lunch crowd. I had it all set up for when we got there. It really worked out great!! :) We were quite pleased! :)
